My new blog

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my new blog!  To see previous blog posts from my old blog, simply click on "Old Blog" in the menu bar above.

I am using a new blog service called squarespace, which allows a lot more customization and options than my former blog site through blogger.com (although that one was free...).

My goal for this "blog" is to make it more than just a blog.  I want it to be a place where I can post new work, let current and potential clients get to know me and my work better, post and discuss some of my personal work and projects, and most importantly, I want it to be a resource page for my clients!  I want it to be a place where you can go and have many of your questions answered!

Please be patient with me as I add to this site and expand it.  I will be working on it for the remainder of the year, and will continue to change it as needed.  Please feel free to send me any feedback or thoughts that you might have!

I have a lot of learning to do.  I'm not to familiar with the back end of Squarespace (how to change my blog, add new posts, pictures, etc.), so I will be working hard to learn it.  I don't imagine it will be difficult...just will take time.

I'll be posting later today with some engagement portraits I took this week.

First Attempt

I'm trying out Squarespace for the first time...so far, I like it.  Easy to customize, and, from what I've been told, I can make my photos are large as I need them to be on my posts (something I couldn't do with blogger.com).  Also, on blogger.com, the videos that were uploaded were tiny...you couldn't really even seen the photos.  I should be able to add larger video here.

So, let this trial period begin...
